2023-2024 Volunteer Application Form
Our basketball leagues, clinics, and classes combine team play and individual skills in a fun and supportive environment. Kids can develop their basketball skills including passing, receiving, shooting, footwork and dribbling. Not only will they have an opportunity to improve their technique, but they’ll also build social skills, gain confidence and develop leadership skills.

Winter 2023-2024 Youth Basketball League
Winter 2023-2024 COED Youth Basketball League!
– Practices: are Monday – Friday (times TBD based on team placement) and generally take place between the hours of 5-7p. Each team will have one scheduled practice each week.
– Game Days: Games begin the second weekend in January. Games take place on Saturday Mornings (9a-5p) & Sunday Evenings (2p-5p as needed). Each team will have one schedule game each week.
Evaluation Date: Saturday, December 2nd.
We will have on-site registrations, player evaluations, and an opportunity to meet coaches. Attendance is VERY IMPORTANT and highly encouraged!!
Evaluations will take place by grade at the following times:
– K-1st: 10a-11:30a (YMCA Lower Gym)
– 2nd-3rd: 12-1:30p (YMCA Lower Gym)
– 4th-5th: 2-3:30p (YMCA Upper Gym)
– Middle School (6th-8th Grade): 4-5:30p (YMCA Upper Gym)
Our volleyball programs are designed to provide youth and teenagers with an opportunity to learn and enjoy the sport of volleyball in a safe and inclusive environment. YMCA volleyball programs typically focus on skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun.

Our soccer programs are designed to provide youth with an opportunity to learn and enjoy the sport of soccer in a safe and inclusive environment. YMCA soccer programs typically focus on skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun.
In partnership with Augusta United Soccer Club we will offer our Soccer Tots Program so kids ages 4-5 beginning in January 2024.

We offer a variety of martial arts classes for youth and adults. Participants will develop discipline, confidence, respect, focus, and self-defense skills in a fun and safe environment. Training is offered in a variety of levels, ranging from beginners to those who are ready for Black Belt testing.
